Jamestown | a Reef from Ruins

The State of Rhode Island has been constructing artificial underwater reefs out of debris from the demolition of the Jamestown Bridge. Ocean Opportunity has completed a short educational video suited for regional educators to provide students with a glimpse of this critical work taking place right in their backyard. The video is available here: http://astore.amazon.com/michaellombardi-20/detail/B003CFB95U.

A project website has also been created in a Blog format to provide near real-time information as fieldwork continues throughout 2010, as well as background information on the project. Stay tuned for updates: http://jamestownreefs.blogspot.com.

  1. The Jamestown/A Reef from Ruins link does not lead to a video. And please bear in mind that school internet security would not allow teachers or students to access any blog content, anyhow.
Could you please post this video on a web site accessible to all, such as Teacher Tube?
