Job Opening: Environmental Educator, Vermont

The state of Vermont Department of Fish and Wildlife is hiring an Environmental Educator to coordinate and oversee two Department residential conservation camps, education facility and coordinate statewide the Project WILD program. The position starting salary is $20.78 per hour. Salary range is $42,391 – $67,000. The position is based in the Department’s Waterbury office with duties that are statewide. The job requires travel, night meetings and overnights at camp facilities. The position requires excellent communication, organizational and personnel management skills. This position requires a valid motor vehicle license, successful review of a criminal history background check, and must be eligible for certification as a hunter education instructor.
