Women in Science Program at NE Aquarium

The New England Aquarium’s Women in Science Program engages young women from area schools in experiencing many facets of marine science. Our aim is to provide young women with a variety of new ideas for envisioning their own futures and with a chance to ask questions of professionals working in marine science about their personal pathways.

Date: Wednesday, October 20, 201, 8:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

Activities
· Behind-the-scene tours of aquarium exhibits

· Q&A with current Aquarium staff and researchers
· IMAX movie and much more!

A school may apply to bring six to ten female students who are interested in learning about marine careers. Schools will be chosen on a first-come, first-served basis, with preference given to schools in the Greater Boston area.
